Ok, I'm sorry it took me a while to get on the computer and blog. I've had a pretty big day.
Anyway, today's topic is on how we have to stand up and protect our amendments. Our amendments are extremely important because without them our states would have no protection against the government. I think that the Bill of Rights (the first ten amendments) are the most important because our founding fathers knew these would be the most important points of our government (the exception being the 13th Amendment).
But the government wants to take away some of these amendments; particularly the 2nd and the 10th. These amendments are holding the government back from a country ruled like England, where a King and a Parliament rule. A republic is separated from other types of government because the people do most of the ruling. Our founding fathers worked extremely hard to get us thus special type of government, and if we sit by, our government will take it away.
So I know my blog is short today, but the point is simple. DO NOT STAND BY AND WATCH OUR GOVERNMENT TAKE OUR RIGHTS!!!!!!!

Why Gun Rights Are Important.
First of all, I would like to thank my friend Ashley for putting me up on her school's page. I appreciate that Ashley! Thanks!
Well, people, today is one of the most important topics I will ever hit on, and I will be making more than one post about this topic in the future. But the main thing I am going to try to hit on today is why are gun rights are important. Here are some of the reasons:
(1) This is the obvious one. If a thug, or anyone, for that matter, tries to steal from, murder, or in any way hurt you or your family, you don't have any of the most important weapons you will need to defend yourself without your guns. They are already breaking the law; they're not just going to say,"Having a gun is illegal."
(2) If we give up all of guns to the government, we are completely at their mercy. They can do anything they would like to us.
Here are some ways we can avoid this:
(1) We can vote the right people into office. It is much harder for the government to pull guns out in an area where the leaders respect gun holders and believe in self-defense.
(2) We can back the NRA in its hard work to preserve our gun rights.
(3) We can point out that the 2nd Amendment allows citizens every right to bear arms.
I am would like to read the Second Amendment to you really quick:
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall NOT be infringed.
Wow.
Does our government really think they can pull down the 2nd Amendment? If they refine this amendment, they will weed out every little thing they don't appreciate in our amendments. Come on, people! We must FIGHT THIS! Our government can ruin us if we just sit by and watch them do it! They will take away every piece of us that makes America what it is! We will FALL, just like Rome or the Soviet Union! We will crumble until we aren't repairable! We must FIGHT! We have to stand up for what our founding fathers worked hard to give us!

We Can Lower Our Taxes!
Ok. I'm back. The Republican Rally was great. I got to meet a Senator who is running for another term, a man running for governor (Bill Haslam), and a lady running for State Represenative (Terri Lynn Weaver). I had an idea at the rally and made it my topic.
How we (our government) can lower our taxes and still keep the country running.
Here are the main ways we can fix these problems with our taxes:
(1) If we cut giving people money who supposedly "can't work". I was going chores earlier today and thought,"Who can't make a tiny hill of dirt smooth? Who can't clean a house for a little bit of cash?" It's that simple. If you have a computer, learn how to design a website. If you are a green thumb, ask someone if you can mow their lawn and trim the bushes if they have the mover and the trimmer. People are just too lazy to do a little work!
(2) If some of the governments stopped knocking back the coffee in their office and started to investigate whether some of the people deserved the money they were giving them! It's easy to give people money when the money isn't yours. Also, in the next election, they may lose that person's vote, whick provides another temptation to give them the money. Then why don't you just give it to them? Because it's the right thing to do.
(3) If the state goverment cut things like giving all the State Represenatives iPads! I don't see iPads in the job requirements. If it really IS important, it should be done to every state, not just one! Things like that save a lot of money. Of government has abused their right to the National Treasury, and so have our states.

Is Freedom Worth Dying For?
Ok people. I had dinner and am back for my first real blog post. So here it is. Enjoy and PASS IT ON!
Do you think freedom is worth dying for? Of course I think that freedom is worth dying for, but I'm asking YOU. If you don't think freedom is worth dying for, I have a question for you. Could you imagine a world where everyone is always scared, fearing the leaders? Could you imagine people like Fidel Castro or Joseph Stalin ruling our country? I can't. It's too scary for my mind to dwell on for an extended period of time.
As for you who DO believe freedom is worth dying for, would YOU die for it?
416,800 American troops died in World War 2. So what? That was 416,800 Americans that thought that freedom was worth dying for. I believe that most people don't realize how much freedom costs. We all enjoy freedom, of course. But do we realize how big of a PRICE that is? That is 416,800 American troops that enjoyed at least 17 years of freedom, and I don't think even THEY knew the cost of freedom until they looked death in the eye! Americans have began to abuse their freedom by: doing things that are illegal, criticizing American leaders of the past for decisions that would help us hold our freedom, and neglecting the Bible on which our Constitution was written.
America can be taken over by terrorists. It seems a ways away. But it's definitely possible.
Tomorrow I am going to a Republican rally, where my sister is singing the national anthem. I will come back for another blog post either tomorrow morning or tomorrow afternoon. But I want you to answer this question for yourself.

Hi. My name is Jacob. I am a young teenager of twelve living in a small town in Tennessee. Although I am young, I feel like I am older sometimes. I am wanting to make a political blog on our government(USA)'s situation. Or perhaps crisis is the correct word. Anyone who has a piece of sense realizes our government is in a tight spot. My ultimate goal of this blog is to make people see sense. America is THAT CLOSE to a crisis. If you don't think so, you should. That's another thing. I'm not gonna "hold back" or anything.
